Have you ever gone into a public washroom and put your cell phone down on the back of the toilet, placed it on the table at a restaurant, or simply put it down to look at something, and walked away... Only to remember minutes, even seconds later, and frantically run back hoping it was still there? Well I have....
My name is Trina Ellis, and I am a mom of three amazing kids. I am the owner and Designer of Muroo Cell Phone Pouches. I searched high and low for a cell phone pouch that would work with my phone, that was functional as well as stylish. I always came back empty handed, and incredibly frustrated. The only cell phone holders available were very manly looking, and too small to fit my cell phone. It was out of frustration, and my desire for something that just did not exist, that prompted me to start my own business. I knew I needed to create an alternative to the traditional cell phone holders.
I started off taking apart old purses and sewing pieces of them back together to create the pouch I had envisioned in my mind. It worked.. but I am definitely not a seamstress, so I searched for someone who was. I finally found a high quality manufacturing company who was able to take my designs and bring them to life.
Since it was impossible to hold my phone at all times, it usually ended up in my diaper bag or purse. With my phone inside my bag I would either miss calls because I didn't hear it ring, or I couldn't find it fast enough as I frantically rummaged thru my bag. My cell phone was never handy when I needed it.
As a mom, and business owner, I need to have my cell phone with me at all times, in case someone needs to get a hold of me. I have been wearing my cell phone pouch every day since I made my first prototype, and couldn't imagine going a day without it. I am very excited about my cell pouches, and about bringing your the same peace of mind that I have now, knowing I will not misplace or loose my phone again.
